Our Programs
Aurora STEAM Lab offers a range of hands‑on programs designed to help students learn, grow, and feel supported every step of the way.

Our Foundational STEAM Programs offer a 90‑minute drop‑off learning experience centered on meaningful, hands‑on exploration in engineering, robotics, coding, science, math, and art. Students can immerse themselves in a single discipline or rotate between subjects, giving them both depth and freedom as they grow.
Our curriculum is intentionally sequenced and guided by ongoing, low‑pressure assessment. Each learner begins with a brief skill and interest check, allowing instructors to understand their starting point. From there, students follow an individualized curriculum aligned with our STEAMATIC pathways, ensuring steady growth, appropriate challenge, and a learning journey that adapts as they develop.
Engineering
Students engage in age‑appropriate engineering challenges that mirror real design cycles. They plan, build, test, and refine structures or mechanisms using guided prompts aligned with their pathway level.
Robotics
Learners progress through robotics builds that increase in complexity over time. They assemble components, integrate sensors or motors, and apply logic suited to their current mastery.
Coding
Students advance through individualized coding tracks, from block‑based logic to text‑based programming, strengthening computational thinking through hands‑on, creative projects.
Science
Learners conduct inquiry‑based investigations tied to physical, life, or earth science concepts. They make predictions, run experiments, and document findings to build scientific reasoning.
Math
Students apply math authentically through measurement, spatial reasoning, pattern recognition, and data collection embedded within their engineering and robotics work.
Art
Art supports both creative expression and design thinking. Students sketch ideas, prototype visually, and explore materials that strengthen creativity, spatial awareness, and engineering fluency.

Our Homeschool STEAM Programs run throughout the day and offer flexible learning options for both individual students and homeschool groups. Each learner begins with a brief skill and interest check, allowing instructors to understand their starting point and align them with an individualized curriculum pathway.
Families choose the STEAM curriculum that best supports their student’s goals, and we provide targeted academic support across all STEAM disciplines. Whether a student needs ongoing guidance in math and science, enrichment in engineering or coding, or structured project work in robotics or art, instruction adapts to their pace, strengths, and learning style.
Small‑group homeschool sessions provide a collaborative environment where students learn alongside peers, while one‑on‑one sessions offer focused, personalized instruction. Both formats blend hands‑on projects with clear, supportive teaching that helps students build confidence and mastery over time.
As a proud member of the HERD program, we partner closely with families to ensure students receive consistent, high‑quality academic support. With intentional instruction, meaningful projects, and a nurturing environment, learners grow steadily and develop a genuine love of learning.

Our After‑School STEAM Program runs Monday through Friday and includes transportation from designated local schools, giving students a smooth transition from the school day into an enriching, structured learning environment. Families also benefit from scheduled half‑day pick‑ups, ensuring consistent support throughout the school year.
Each afternoon, students rotate through our Foundations of STEAM engineering, robotics, coding, science, technology, art, and math experiencing a balanced mix of creativity, problem‑solving, and hands‑on exploration. This rotation keeps learning fresh and engaging while exposing students to a wide range of skills and disciplines.
Students also receive dedicated homework support and personalized academic guidance. Instructors tailor assistance to each learner’s needs, whether they’re reinforcing core math and science concepts or extending their understanding through STEAM‑aligned projects.
With caring instructors, intentional structure, and meaningful activities, students build real skills while exploring new ideas in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Each day ends with students feeling confident, supported, and excited to return.

Our Tutoring Program supports students from Pre‑K through 12th grade through fully individualized, one‑on‑one instruction. Families can choose incenter sessions or virtual lessons with real Maryland teachers who understand state standards, curriculum expectations, and the academic demands students face in school.
Each learner begins with a brief skill and interest check, allowing instructors to identify strengths, gaps, and goals. From there, students follow a personalized learning plan that adapts as they grow, whether they need targeted support, enrichment, or confidence‑building across any STEAM discipline.
Tutoring sessions provide focused guidance, meaningful practice, and clear instruction aligned with classroom expectations. With flexible scheduling and a warm, supportive approach, students receive the individualized attention they need to strengthen skills, stay on track, and feel confident in their academic progress.

Our STEAM Camps offer students an exciting, hands‑on learning experience that blends science, technology, engineering, art, and math in fresh, engaging ways. Every camp day is built around personalized learning pathways, ensuring students explore challenges that match their level while diving into creative, theme‑driven experiences.
Campers begin with a quick skill and interest check, allowing instructors to align them with the appropriate STEAMATIC pathway level. From there, students engage in guided activities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage real problem‑solving—whether they’re designing, building, experimenting, coding, or creating through art and technology.
We offer a variety of camp formats throughout the year, including School‑Out Day Camps, Spring Camps, and Winter Camps. Each session features its own exciting theme and hands‑on experiences, giving students a fun, inspiring place to learn whenever school is not in session.
And when summer arrives, students can dive even deeper through our high‑energy Summer STEAM Camps, where each week introduces a brand‑new theme and an immersive world of exploration.
